mission square restaurant
the project. Redevelopment of marketing campaign and advertising to modernize their presence and establish a succinct brand. the result. A distinct logo that encapsulates the vintage feel of their brick courtyard while modernizing their brand as a whole. A digital presence, through website design and social media, that attracted new business and new revenue- elevating both the feel of the restaurant and exposure, making it one of the top rated restaurants and event spaces in the city.
uptown whittier art stroll
the project. Uptown Whittier's monthly art stroll didn't have any sort of branding. The goal was to create a logo that captured the feel of a new vibrant art scene in uptown. the result. A bright, new logo that attracted the attention of people strolling uptown, as well as several social media images for artists and businesses to share on their instagram accounts to promote the art stroll. The result was attraction of a larger audience of people coming to the event and a lot of social share of the images.
chinese american museum
the project. We have worked on several projects for the Chinese American Museum of Los Angeles. Catalogs for the following exhibitions: L.A. Heat (about Sriracha and Tapatio being made in L.A. and their influence on culture), Tales of the Distant Past (about the Chinese diaspora), Transpacific Ties (a show featuring Hong Kong artists), as well as designs for the yearly gala event. the result. Working with exhibition designers and the museum's committee, we came up with designs that tied together the concept of the exhibits and events with a visual communications solution that expressed each one uniquely.
the project. A non-profit organization doing work to raise money to help impoverished people in the Philippines needed a new logo and informational brochure. the result. A fresh logo that incorporates fish, which is the main industry in the area and a symbol of the people swimming upwards with hope, as well as a clear, concise brochure which tells the story and mission to promote others to help. The organization has received numerous donations and sponsors.
revive sleep center
the project. Large furniture retailer was looking to promote their line of new mattresses. They needed branding and in-store signage. the result. The Sleep Center was revived by removing stale, conformist photography of people sleeping on mattresses, to a new campaign which communicated more about what one can do once they get a good night's sleep. The result was a new feel to the showroom and an elevated brand message which introduced more consumers to their mattress line.
